Starlet.

Making a spectacle of this divorce,
With my black shades and cocaine.
It's all a sham when the hourglass runs out,
We are as ugly, as we are vain.

A little foundation to wear on my tears,
While page 6 scandals make daddy so proud
Topple from these expensive six inch choos,
It takes but a flash to disperse the crowd.

See me standing up to claim the golden man,
When all I've done is speak through my skirt
It's astounding just how flawed we are,
The difference is I'm fucked in high definition.

Light bulbs around my name come on,
For a second I'm in awe of this facade.
Professing my love to the Hollywood sign
Then set it on fire with a broken heart.

So snuff the victory, inject the joy
But be sure to stifle your screams.
Watch the limousine stop and the carpet roll
There you are, 'the American Dream'.
